Our Expeditors keep our restaurant running smoothly by ensuring that food is prepared and delivered properly and efficiently. It is your responsibility to serve as the liaison between the front and back of the house team members. As an Expo, you look over tickets and communicate with the kitchen regarding orders. You are the final set of eyes to look over the ticket before delivering the food to our guests. Our ideal expeditor must possess excellent communication skills, experience working in a fast paced restaurant setting and outstanding customer service skills every day.
Expo/Expeditor Job Duties
Manage ticket times to standard, while tracking everything outside our standard in a log book. Both dine in and takeout.
Communicate effectively with food runners and servers to ensure food is delivered properly and timely
Complete understanding and knowledge of the menu for allergy purposes
Possess full knowledge of ingredients used in each dish. Along with knowledge of how each dish is prepared, flavor profiles, and food quality points.
Assist in final preparation and garnishes
Keep the expo line and surrounding area clean and organized.
Help monitor health and TFK safety protocols on line. ie: glove usage, proper utensil usage, cross contact, sanitizer usage.
Effectively signal team members for every 30minute hand wash and line sweep timer.
Provide exceptional service by ensuring that food and beverage items are correctly delivered to customers
Support other areas of the restaurant as requested, such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions
