About This Location

Health-Driven Dining at Seaholm

At Seaholm, True Food Kitchen draws professionals from downtown Austin's central business district, residents from nearby Clarksville and West End, and groups gathering for weekday lunch meetings or weekend brunch along the Colorado River. The kitchen builds every dish around seasonal, whole-food ingredients with anti-inflammatory benefits.

The patio overlooks the Seaholm district and offers open-air dining year-round in Austin's temperate climate. Inside, the dining room accommodates everything from working lunches to family dinners, with a menu built around an anti-inflammatory approach to whole foods and seasonal ingredients sourced with intention. The Austin location has been part of the Seaholm Power Plant complex since March 2016.

“ True Food Kitchen in Austin delivers the same fresh, open-kitchen vibe we’ve come to expect from the brand. Great quality, friendly service, stylish interior – everything’s on point. We started with the cauliflower, hummus plate, and edamame dumplings. The dumplings were easily the highlight – rich flavor, perfect texture. For mains, we tried the tuna poke bowl, which didn’t quite hit the mark. The tuna was too soft and the black rice didn’t really work with the rest. On the other hand, the double cheeseburger with Beyond Meat was excellent – flavorful, juicy, and satisfying. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a healthy, well-prepared meal in Austin. ”★★★★★Dmitriy Mykalo · a year ago
“ We’ve been to True Food Kitchen about four times now, and it’s become one of our favorite spots downtown. These photos are from two consecutive visits—we went back the very next day after trying the meatloaf because it was that good. We didn’t get the meatloaf again the second time, but everything we’ve tried has been fresh and consistently well-prepared. The service has been reliable, and the food experience keeps us coming back. Definitely a place we plan to return to again. ”★★★★★Christina Hope Justice-Antokoletz (Black Swan Sibyl) · a year ago
