Better Food Means Better Living
A Better Definition of the Diet
We were founded on a set of simple and exhaustively researched principles known as the anti-inflammatory diet.
Dr. Andrew Weil
Renowned physician and doctor of integrative medicine, Dr. Andrew Weil founded True Food Kitchen with the simple belief that food should make you feel better, not worse. From day one we’ve championed his vision to bring this new way of eating to each one of our kitchens.
Here, we believe in a lifestyle that encourages simple changes in eating habits to avoid and counteract chronic inflammation—a way of selecting and preparing foods based on science that can help people achieve and maintain optimum health over their lifetime.

We go to great lengths to source with integrity, partnering only with growers that are committed to the same values that we are. We’re proud to say that 100% of the kale used in our kitchens is farmed organically from San Miguel Farms. Join Chef Robert and Garrett Nishimori for a tour of the fields to see first-hand how our organic kale is grown.

Enjoy Your Food the Way You Want It
We’ve carefully crafted our menu to reflect our guests’ every need.
No problem. We can make it gluten-free—whether it be a pizza, pita or the bun of your favorite burger.
Of course. Many of our base dishes are vegetarian—and just about everything else on the menu can be made that way.
Yep. We even found a way to make both pizza and ice-cream vegan without sacrificing taste. Amazing, we know.
There’s no dish on our menu that can’t be customized. No matter how you want it, we’re happy to make it exactly that way.
