Seasonal Dining at North Hills

At North Hills, True Food Kitchen draws neighbors from Midtown and North Raleigh with a whole-food, anti-inflammatory menu of seasonal cooking. The contemporary dining room, which opened in November 2024, hosts weekday lunch meetings, weekend brunch, and group dinners.

Generous patio seating takes advantage of North Carolina's mild shoulder seasons, suitable for unhurried brunches or evening gatherings. From the seasonal menu to the beverage program, the focus stays on whole, unprocessed ingredients and transparent sourcing.

“ It was our first experience at True Food Kitchen. I loved the variety of healthy options. We tried two of the fresh juice blends, and they were perfect! The beet blend was my favorite. The ancient grains bowl with shrimp did not disappoint. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the sweet potatoes were delicious. The air-fried French fries were crispy and not greasy…guilt free? Maybe not, but I’d eat those every day. The air-fried chicken tenders were just OK, but not my favorite. Something about the texture was weird and they were a little dry, but maybe they were just overcooked a bit. I’ll definitely try this place again. There were several vegetarian and vegan options too! I saw another table with the cookie and ice cream and I was envious. ”★★★★★Kim Isenhour · 8 months ago
“ We had the BEST experience tonight at True Food Kitchen in Raleigh, and it was all because of V! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. You can tell she truly believes in the food and cares about her guests having a great experience. She gave thoughtful recommendations, checked in at the perfect times without hovering, and made us feel completely taken care of. Her energy elevated the whole meal. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but V absolutely nailed it. We’ll be back — and we’ll be asking for her! ”★★★★★Jen Colmenero · 3 months ago
